1987 O'Connell & Son Ink Series 4
This 244 card baseball set was put out by the artist, T.S. O'Connell, in the 1980s. All cards have blanks backs and feature ink drawings of the players over backgrounds of different colors. The only other information on the front of the card is the player name, card number, and most also have the text, "O'Connell & Son Ink" at the bottom. When I spoke with T.S. O'Connell in 1991 he had just put out Series 7. He said he had put out the first six series at a rate of about one per year from 1984-1989. Thus, I have always listed the cards like this:
