1988 Good Ideas Superstar Action Popups (Wood Base Variation)
These are cardboard cutouts that are about 8 inches tall and about a 1/4 inch thick and come with a wooden base with a groove along the top that the cutout can slide into so it can stand up. There are 10 popups in the set with Mattingly and Carter having two poses each. There is an alternative variation that does not have a wood base,but has a cardboard backing with a stand that folds out like a picture frame. My assumption is the variation exists for all the pop-ups, but it is unconfirmed.
